Welcome to Northwestern Elementary School.  I am pleased to share information about our school with you.  At Northwestern Elementary School, we pride ourselves on providing a challenging educational program that meets the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum and local expectations.  Our school and countys motto Success:  Every Student, Every Day is evident in each classroom daily.  Teachers continually meet to analyze data in order to extend or remediate instruction in order to provide lessons that stimulate student learning.

Our parents are always welcome to participate in the decision making process called ILT (Instructional Leadership Team).  This team combines staff, parents and administration to bring about improvements in our school.  We invite you to become an active part in this process. 

We are fortunate to have a strong PTA to support our school programs.  Our PTA works in conjunction with teachers to provide a supportive and dynamic environment for our students. I encourage you to join us in providing the best possible educational setting for your child.
